Making trans histories public with Wikipedia

Organised by Leeds City Museum

Trans histories are under-represented everywhere, even online.

One way activists can make people’s lives and achievements more visible is by adding them to the world’s seventh most popular website – Wikipedia. Join ally and activist Lucy Moore to learn how to add trans histories to the website, focused on trans histories connected to Leeds.

Due to the set up of Wikipedia, we’re asking participants to bring a tablet or laptop, if you don’t have one, get in touch and we’ll try to help.

Funding from Wikimedia UK means we can support local travel to attend the event and everyone gets a hot drink.
