Leeds Data Ethics Forum

This edition of the Leeds Data Ethics Forum aims to bring people working in the field of Data Ethics together to build initiative to turn Leeds into a ‘Safe Digital City’.

We want to collaborate with Leeds City Council to educate and protect citizens in relation to their data rights, employing innovative work from the Turing Institute and Leeds City Council.

Speakers will include;

Dr Shyam Krishna – Postdoctoral Research Associate, The Alan Turing Institute

Professor Christopher Megone – Professor of Inter-Disciplinary Applied Ethics Inter Disciplinary Ethics Applied Centre (formerly IDEA CETL, a national Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning) University of Leeds

Eve Roodhouse – Chief Officer, Economy and Culture, Leeds City Council

Julian Tait – CEO, Open Data Manchester
