Bradford Tech Fest takes place throughout October 2023 and aims to inspire young people to embrace technology for positive change, to showcase digital career pathways and develop their digital skills and talent. Established in 2020 with partners Bradford Council, National Science & Media Museum, Future Transformation and Exa Networks there is a need to expand opportunities available for young people by encouraging more organisations to take part.
Free training is being made available to support in order to provide inspiring activities and engaging events as part of #BradfordTechFest.
Exa are hosting two workshops to support employees and organisations to create activities that will engage and inspire young people as well as developing the confidence and ability to hook attention and stimulate interest.
Workshop 2 will enable attendees to develop activities for young people in STEM by:
On successful completion, participants will be eligible for Digital Badges from Bradford Council’s SkillsHouse team to recognise achievement.
Both workshops are provided free of charge to adult employees of organisations who are interested in supporting Bradford Tech Fest and will be led by Alan O’Donohoe, The Exa Foundation. Alan is an award winning teacher and leader in education with a passion for making learning fun and engaging.
