Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber is hosting a series of virtual events exploring how digital and AI can help deliver the ambitions of the Government’s Ten Year Health Plan — supporting more joined-up, preventative and person-centred care.
Sessions are open to all but designed for colleagues from the NHS, public and voluntary sectors.
Upcoming event: Digital and AI in delivering neighbourhood health
This session will bring together national, regional and local perspectives to explore how digital and AI can support neighbourhood health — helping teams work differently, support people closer to home, and better meet the needs of communities.
You’ll hear:
- A national update on the neighbourhood health programme from
Dr Minal Bakhai, National Lead and Director for Primary Care and Community Transformation and Improvement (PCTI)
- A regional perspective on neighbourhood health in the North East and Yorkshire, from Tracy Wright, Regional Portfolio Lead – Community Health Services
- An update from Prof Arunangsu Chatterjee (PhD, FBCS, FHEA, FRSA), Vice Chair and Non-Executive Director of West Yorkshire ICB
Learn from practice:
- Local case studies from the City Health Care Partnership in Hull
- The role of the voluntary sector, with insights from the British Red Cross and its work supporting high users of healthcare services in the communities in which they live
Explore digital and AI in action:
- How digital and AI innovations can support neighbourhood health, including the identification and management of people living with multiple long-term conditions
- The practical enablers needed to deliver at scale, including data sharing, interoperability, decision support, and what this means for community care teams
Further details and a full agenda will be shared shortly.
