Business leaders from across the manufacturing sector will now come together to engage with young people in a unique way that will allow them to inspire and reshape the workforce of the future.
Hosted at the Burberry Leeds Hub, in collaboration with Juniper Networks and Verizon Business, this interactive and thought provoking event will bring together 25x manufacturing leaders and 25x young people together to address the sector’s workforce development challenges through:
Discover: Careers Uncovered – This interactive alternative to the traditional fire-side panel removes the barrier of assumption as the audience gain a deeper insight into the individual pathways to careers in manufacturing.
Ambition: Unleashing Innovation – young people work with business leaders to explore how emerging technologies, such as AI, are revolutionising how the manufacturing sector engages with it’s audience.
Experience: Unseen Connections – An unique spin on networking, enabling young people and business leaders to connect and learn from one another in a speed mentoring session. Participants are challenged to explore topics which support young people to navigate career paths in the rapidly evolving field of manufacturing and encourage business leaders to consider the role they have to play.
