Leeds Digital Welcomes New Ambassadors

In November 2023, we announced our ambassador network and invited some of the city’s best and brightest tech minds to represent Leeds Digital, promoting the innovation and expertise within the Leeds City Region, in the UK and beyond.

What do Leeds Digital Ambassadors do?

Our Ambassadors represent Leeds Digital and the city’s tech sector, taking every opportunity to discuss Leeds Digital in conversations around the UK and wider, for the benefit of the entire city region ecosystem. They help us spread the message of inclusivity in tech and our continued dedication to collaboration within the tech sector to bring further opportunities and prosperity to everyone who lives and works here.

Collaboration: Foster connections and partnerships within the tech community to promote shared growth and success.
Diversity and Inclusion: Advocate for a tech sector that welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and encourages a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Community Engagement: Actively engage with the local tech community, organising events, and activities that benefit its members.
Education and Mentorship: Support educational initiatives and mentorship programmes to help aspiring tech professionals develop their skills and careers.

What’s new?

After a couple of years, some people’s roles evolved to other areas and regions and thus their role as Ambassador reached its natural end, so we want to say thanks to Alan Gallacher, Anna Sutton, Eve Roodhouse, Lianne Potter and Patience Ndvolu for championing Leeds Digital and the Leeds tech ecosystem throughout the last couple of years.
