Nominations for The Leeds Digital Festival Awards, hosted by Leeds-based law firm Ward Hadaway alongside the podcast byProduct Live are now officially open.
The awards celebrate the best in digital and tech innovation across Leeds and the wider city area and recognise the talent born and bred in the region and beyond. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 26th September 2024, where winners will be announced across 11 categories.
Now in its 7th year, the awards have become a key date in the calendar in the tech/digital scene in the city. Unlike most corporate-run awards events, the LDF Awards night is deliberately anti-formal. The LDF Awards are totally focused on the people, companies, platforms and initiatives that make Leeds such a vibrant place in the digital and tech sectors, and the event is a unique gathering of these organisations and individuals to celebrate each others’ success.
The awards are completely free to enter, and free to attend.
Nominations are encouraged from all people and businesses who are part of the tech and digital scene in the city. Most people nominate themselves, and this is a great opportunity to shout about you and/or your business, or to shine a light on those you know are deserving of the recognition.
“There’s a lot of cutting edge digital stuff done in Leeds and winning the award really recognises the work we do”

“It’s been such hard work to get to where we are and the award really validates what we’re doing and is a great reward to our whole team”
– George Fairhall, Founder, WAC App – Winner of Start up of the Year 2023
“The competition is so fierce and there are so many great tech companies in Leeds so it’s brilliant for us to win this award as it’s about recognising everyone across the business”
– Alex Hammond, Talent Acquisition Manager, BJSS – Winner of Tech Employer of the Year 2023
“The Leeds Digital Festival Awards are where I’ve made so many connections in the Leeds tech scene. The night is a brilliant celebration and I would recommend to everyone to nominate themselves and their team to really show the rest of the community what they’re about. We’ve sponsored the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Award for a number of years and the stories we’ve heard and the winners have been incredible. Get nominating!”
– Zandra Moore, Founder, PanIntelligence.
The awards evening is a party and celebration and a culmination of two weeks of fantastic events at the Leeds Digital Festival, which is once again set to be the standard bearer for tech events.
