Accenture Showcases Full Office Refresh with Leeds Digital Festival Event

The ‘Technology Trends: Propelling Your Business into the Future with Emerging Tech’ event was hosted in the fully refurbished Apsley House offices, ushering in a new era of tech community in Leeds.

Accenture has firmly planted its presence in Yorkshire by overhauling its city centre facilities in Apsley House, Wellington Street, which the team proudly revealed at last week’s Leeds Digital Festival event. The refurbishment is accompanied by a calendar of upcoming tech community events, recognising Leeds as a thriving hub for digital talent and community and solidifying the company’s long-term future in the region.

The workspace showcases the city’s essence. From local artwork and photographs capturing favourite Leeds-based architectural landmarks adorning the halls, to locally made and sourced textiles in the furniture, the Accenture team has meticulously crafted a space that embodies Yorkshire’s spirit, and which they hope will represent a bustling community hub for the city’s technology talent.

On 25th April, Apsley House hosted ‘Technology Trends: Propelling Your Business into the Future  with Emerging Tech’. The panel explored the findings of this year’s Tech Vision report, Human by Design and invited attendees to discuss how business leaders can apply its insights to their own organisations to supercharge growth and stay competitive in the evolving market landscape.  Accenture staff shared the latest advancements in tech with their impressive AI training hub, which  attendees had the chance to demo.

The Leeds Digital Festival event is just one of many held at the office. From their quarterly Women in Tech breakfast panels to Bytes and Breakouts, Accenture has spent the spring engaging the tech curious and experts alike in lively discussions. Continuing to champion diversity, early talent and career changers, Accenture Leeds is also investing time and energy into its partnership with Growing Talent Leeds, BYP Leeds, and a range of other local tech groups.

Keep your eyes peeled for future masterclasses, panels and talks in this space.

“Leeds is a hive of technology innovation with some of the UK’s best talent and brands in the region doing really exciting work. Re-establishing our presence in the city underlines our commitment to enriching the region, through playing an active part in the tech community and focusing on initiatives which benefit the wider Leeds region and its people.”
