No Code Lab Launches Super Hack

No Code Lab is inviting Leeds-based businesses to join their hackathon event planned in May.

No Code Lab is hosting its second No Code Hack event, tailored to Leeds-based businesses, charities, and not-for-profits. The Super Hack will see ten teams battling it out with ten no code experts, focussing on automating processes, creating an app, or just developing something that makes life easier.

This year’s Super Hack will be run as part of the Climb23 innovation and investment festival and is being part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Climb23 presented by Investor Ladder is bringing together around 3,000 people worldwide, including legendary international speakers, leading figures, and innovators of tomorrow to create an unforgettable event.

No Code Lab is building an open-source community in the heart of Leeds, by sharing insights and making ideas open-source. No Code Labs’ aim is to create a social movement that is inclusive and diverse.

No code has the potential to address major societal problems and it’s predicted that by 2025, 70% of new applications developed by enterprises will use low-code or no-code technologies.

“We can’t wait to see what our teams of non-techies and no code creators make this year!

“Solutions produced at our last hack are now being implemented into the processes of some of our team’s organisations and we’d love to see more good news stories that highlight the true potential of the no code movement.

“We’re also really excited that we get to invite more teams than ever to take part and we’re doing it as part of Climb23; we couldn’t have asked for a better stage for the Super Hack!”

Georgia Halston, Co-Founder of No Code Lab and Group CEO of Halston Group

No code creators include No Code Ninja, Erised and Accessed Memory using Bubble, Nina Taylor using SmartSuite and Panintelligence, Hark, BJSS and Toca. These no-coders will be matched up with the likes of Brewin Dolphin, Smart Works, Generation and Startup Sherpas, to demonstrate tech opportunities.

The event will take place on the 23rd of May at Leeds Docks, allowing businesses to network and connect with peers, all while exploring no code as they enter the tech ecosystem.

No Code Lab is looking for their final non-technical Leeds-based businesses to join the Super Hack and explore the MVP landscape, build technical knowledge and broaden their network.
